Hello, Well, subscription time is now due, so I hope you are all digging deep into those pockets of yours to pay up so you may continue to receive your fab copy of the Jester, amongst all the other benefits to being a member of the Kelvin Players
.New members this time are :
Drew Dickson – Since joining, Drew has helped on construction and ‘trod the boards’ for the first time in a rehearsed reading.Matt Cotton – Brother of Andy. He has decided to follow in his big brothers footsteps and join Kelvin. Has already acted in a rehearsed reading, even though he has little acting experience, but has had experience in public speaking and done various courses. He wants to gain more experience on stage, and off with Kelvin.
Johan Maendl – Was so keen to join Kelvin, he collared me after ‘Cold Comfort Farm’ and asked for details to join, as he believes Kelvin Players to have an excellent reputation for performing quality theatre. Was a member of Bristol Youth Theatre Workshop and attended Artemis School of Speech and Drama in Sussex for four years. More recently, he was involved with Taurusvoice Theatre in Stroud. He is looking forward to getting involved.
Megan Wiley – Has missed being involved in drama and theatre and so decided to join Kelvin. Already she has taken part in a rehearsed reading, and is interested in getting involved with directing, as well as being happy to get involved backstage in anyway she can. She has also worked FoH at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre(!) and stewarded at the Barbican. She is also happy to help out with any admin tasks.
Also one last mention, a welcome back to LAURA SMITH, who was last seen at Kelvin swashing buckles in ‘The Three Musketeers’ and partaking in many rehearsed readings, and has already appeared in more since her return. Good to have you back.
